"A Cold Creek Noel" by RaeAnne Thayne was a sweet holiday 'Christmas' read
that happened to be this authors second in this series. This was a story of Caidy and Ben along with 'adorable kids, dogs and horses.' We find that this widower Ben Caldwell was a new vet in Cold Creek along with two children wanting to escape his past. Caidy Bowman have suffered greatly due to the fact that her parents were brutally killed. Caidy had once had dreams of becoming a vet but these day she is found working at the family ranch and helping raise one of her nieces. After Caidy takes her pup to the vet and finding out that the Vet needed a place to stay...later after the vet is offered and moves into the 'Foreman's' house. As you read you will seek how these two people are being thrown together in one way or another. You will find that Caidy's brothers invites Ben and his children over for a sleigh ride and Sunday dinner. Will these barriers that are keeping these two apart be dissolved? This is where I say you must pick up "A Cold Creek Novel" to say how this author will get this all out to the reader. The characters were all well developed giving you a good realistic and enjoyable read.
This was one happy fun Christmas story with a lots of 'love warmth, good, strong likable characters, kids and dogs all wrapped up in one excellent novel. Would I recommend? YES! This would be a wonderful holiday novel to read.
