Review of Juggernaut by Nancy Springer
5 stars
Oh, I so admire a short story like this one, with a clear
purpose, clarity of tone, and closure! Protagonist Maggie is on an undercover
assignment involving singles dance events, to find a killer of five males. Law
enforcement has been stumped, and is looking for some very hefty and powerful
killer. Maggie, however, operates on women’s intuition and just good common
sense, and she listens-very important. She figures out what’s going on, and
more importantly, she discovers an essential secret about her own life-and then
leaves it to “poetic justice” to solve. Excellent!
I received a review e-book copy from the publisher, Untreed
Reads, via the Goodreads Group Making Connections.
