"Princess Hiccup" by Matthew Robison (Illustrated by Darlene Segura)

Matthew Robison has written an adorable little book about a Princess cursed with hiccups. I found the droll way of writing simply precious and any child that has ever had the hiccups will surely empathize with the sweet princess.

The carpenter hero is so very charming and as Mr. Robison seems to be a man that loves the holy scripture, it makes his hero even more suitable. The lesson in this book is also very strong and will make a lasting impression, as weapons of a harsh sort are shunned in favor of a carpenter's faithful tool, a single hammer.

I feel this is yet another shining example of a great children's story well executed, full of meaning and with a very commendable happy ending.

I also love that the alternative illustrations were included and Darlene Segura's artwork was light-hearted, extremely adorable and very well done.

I give this book a very happy 5 Ravens!
